Little Chart Parish Council is non-political and elected by village residents. It is the most local form of government and works to preserve the special character of our village as well as providing a line of communication for local issues to be referred to Ashford Borough Council and other statutory bodies and organisations. See the dates of our Meetings, Minutes and Agenda.
Our Meetings (approx. six per year, 2nd Tuesday bi-monthly) are open to all members of the public to attend and are usually held at 7.30pm in the Village Hall (pictured below).
COVID-19 Update: Annual Parish Meeting (APM) and Annual Parish Council Meeting (APCM) – due to the emergency restrictions on public meetings during the COVID-19 outbreak, these meetings have been postponed.
Three clear days’ notice of the rearranged meetings will be given, whether they are held in person or virtually/remotely. At present the likelihood is that a date in July will be set, but this does depend on UK Government announcements in May and June.
Update provided by M Sharpe, Parish Clerk, 30th April 2020.
